Fluorine-lined diaphragm valves are a special form of shut-off valve that appeared in the 1920s. Its opening and closing member is a diaphragm made of soft material, which separates the valve body cavity from the bonnet cavity and the driving member, so it is called a diaphragm valve.
 
Product principle of lining fluorine diaphragm valve:
 
The diaphragm valve is provided with a flexible diaphragm or a combined diaphragm in the valve body and the valve cover, and the closing member is a compression device connected to the diaphragm. The structure is very different from that of the general valve, and is a special form of the cut-off valve. The opening and closing member is composed of a steel disc and a diaphragm made of soft material (composite rubber and fluoroplastic), and the valve body cavity is separated to cut off the medium in the tube.

Fluorine-lined diaphragm valve basic structure
 
1. The composite diaphragm separates the lower chamber of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve cover and forms a DC channel with it, so that the valve stem, valve disc and other internal parts of the diaphragm are completely isolated from the medium, and the packing sealing structure is omitted, and the medium is inside. Leakage and leakage can be avoided at the same time.
 
2. The diaphragm as the actuator is subject to fatigue fracture due to frequent opening and closing. It should be replaced periodically according to working conditions and medium characteristics.
 
3. The valve with teflon fluoroplastic lining layer made of fep (teflon) fluoroplastic and full rubber is suitable for various corrosive media except "melting alkali metal and elemental fluorine".

Use of lining fluorine diaphragm valve:
 
Fluorine-lined diaphragm valves are widely used in pipelines with highly corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, chlorine, strong alkali and aqua regia.
 
 Fluorine-lined diaphragm valve installation and precautions
 
1. The valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. It is strictly prohibited to stack.
2. Both ends of the passage of the inventory valve must be sealed to prevent foreign matter from entering the inner cavity and damaging the sealing member. Avoid contact with oil or other flammable materials.
3. The metal working surface of the valve should be cleaned of dirt and coated with rust inhibitor.
4. Do not apply grease or grease to the surface of the rubber or rubber diaphragm to avoid swelling of the rubber and affect the service life of the valve.
5. During storage or during deactivation, turn the handwheel counterclockwise to keep the valve in the micro-open state to avoid losing the elasticity of the diaphragm due to long-term compression.
6. The slings shall not be tied to the handwheel or the valve stem during transportation or during installation. It is strictly forbidden to collide with other metals or hard objects to prevent damage to parts and linings. String 6
7. Before installation, carefully check whether the running conditions of the pipeline and the medium are consistent with the applicable scope of the valve, and avoid unnecessary losses caused by improper selection, resulting in accidents.
8. This valve should not be used outside the vacuum pipeline. It can be installed in any position of the pipeline for two-way flow, but it should ensure the convenience of operation and maintenance.
9. When installing, the valve body cavity should be cleaned to prevent dirt from getting stuck or damage the sealing parts, and check whether the connecting bolts of each part are evenly tightened.
10. Always check the parts in contact with the media during operation and replace the consumable parts regularly according to the actual use.
